Urineinfection

Urinary tract infections are more common in women. They usually occur in the bladder or urethra, but more serious infections involve the kidney. A bladder infection may cause pelvic pain, increased urge to urinate, pain with urination and blood in the urine. A kidney infection may cause back pain, nausea, vomiting and fever. Common treatment is with antibiotics.

Prostate Infection

Causes of prostatitis may include infection, injury or an immune system disorder. Symptoms include difficulty urinating, pain in the groin, pelvic area or genitals and, sometimes, flu-like symptoms. Prostatitis may get better on its own. If it's caused by a bacterial infection, antibiotics may be prescribed.

Male Infertility

Male infertility refers to a male's inability to cause pregnancy in a fertile female. In humans it accounts for 40–50% of infertility. It affects approximately 7% of all men. Male infertility is commonly due to deficiencies in the semen, and semen quality is used as a surrogate measure of male fecundity.
